Comment: The oclp installer you have prepared for your mac is 14.7.1 (23H222) - newer than the already downloaded and "waiting" update.
Make an oclp installer for your mac with macOS 14.7 (23H124) and install this version first.
You have to "flush" the old updater, because it is already on your mac - and ready to install.

Comment: Hey there! The "https://panic.apple.com" error usually points to a kernel panic due to incompatible EFI settings or missing kexts. Here are some steps you can try to fix it on your Dell OptiPlex 7010:
Update OpenCore and Kexts: Make sure you're using the latest OpenCore version and up-to-date kexts (especially Lilu, WhateverGreen, AppleALC, and VirtualSMC).
SMBIOS Settings: Use an SMBIOS compatible with Ivy Bridge, like iMac13,1 or iMac13,2. Open config.plist and set PlatformInfo > Generic > SystemProductName to one of these.
Disable Unnecessary Features: In config.plist, enable DisableIoMapper under Kernel > Quirks (helps with older systems) and disable AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleXcpmCfgLock if CFG Lock can’t be disabled in BIOS.
BIOS Config: Go into BIOS and set SATA mode to AHCI, disable VT-d (if present), Secure Boot, and CFG Lock if possible.
Handle Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7470 might be causing issues. Use -wegnoegpu boot argument with WhateverGreen to disable unsupported GPUs temporarily or try running with only one GPU if possible.
Verbose Mode: Add -v to boot args (in NVRAM > Add > boot-args in config.plist) to boot in Verbose Mode and get more detailed error messages.
Extra Quirks: For Ivy Bridge CPUs, set ProvideCustomSlide to true under Booter > Quirks.
After applying these changes, rebuild the EFI on your USB and give it another try. If you still get panics, check the Verbose output for any specific error messages – they can help pinpoint what’s wrong. Good luck!

Comment: Hi Christian,
I had the same issue. MacBookPro12,1:
1. First boot after update: no WLAN. Not possible to patch with V1.4 OCPL because OPCL App destroyed
2.Got an old one V0.5.x from a backup, patched the system again. Then no internal keypad, mousepad. Just BT worked.
3. Able to boot in secure mode, used an external keypad (BT not working) but not able to get an internet connection. After some more things I stuck into the situation as you described. Nothing was possible any more.
x. Decided to install legacy OSC (Catalina) and recovered data from backup.
x+1. Now my computer is running OPCL 1.4.2 (not 1.4.3 because of the non-metal issue) with OSX Ventura 13.6.6)
I struggle to make a new try because of 3 days of work ...

Comment: Creating an EFI for a Hackintosh with OpenCore can be quite detailed and requires specific configuration based on the hardware you're using. Here's a general step-by-step guide to get you started, but keep in mind that you may need to adjust the steps based on the specifics of your build and the version of macOS you're planning to install.
### Title:
"Building an OpenCore EFI Folder for Intel Celeron G3900 and Gigabyte H110M Hackintosh"
### Guide Step by Step:
1. **Gather Required Resources:**
- Download the latest version of OpenCore.
- Download the necessary kexts (kernel extensions) such as Lilu, WhateverGreen, VirtualSMC, AppleALC, RealtekRTL8111, and any others required for your hardware.
- Obtain the SSDT files for CPU power management and any other necessary ACPI patches.
2. **Set Up EFI Structure:**
- Create the EFI folder structure on a FAT32 formatted USB drive with `EFI/OC`.
- Place the OpenCore `BOOTx64.efi` and `OpenCore.efi` in `EFI/BOOT` and `EFI/OC` directories, respectively.
3. **Configure config.plist:**
- Use a plist editor like ProperTree to edit your `config.plist`.
- Under ACPI, add any necessary SSDT files.
- Under DeviceProperties, add properties for your GPU and audio layout-id.
- Under Kernel, add the kexts you have downloaded.
- Under Misc, configure boot settings and debug options.
- Under NVRAM, set appropriate boot-args (like `debug=0x100`, `keepsyms=1`, `-v` for verbose mode).
- Under PlatformInfo, generate a serial number and other SMBIOS information appropriate for a similar real Mac model.
- Under UEFI, configure drivers and input options.
4. **Create ACPI SSDTs:**
- Use SSDTTime or a similar tool to generate SSDT files for your CPU and other components. Place these files in `EFI/OC/ACPI`.
5. **Add Kexts:**
- Place your kexts in `EFI/OC/Kexts`. Ensure you have the latest versions compatible with your macOS version.
6. **Add UEFI Drivers:**
- Place necessary UEFI drivers (like HfsPlus.efi or OpenHfsPlus.efi) in `EFI/OC/Drivers`.
7. **Finalize config.plist:**
- Validate your `config.plist` with the OpenCore Configuration Sanity Checker or a similar tool.
8. **BIOS Configuration:**
- Adjust your BIOS settings according to OpenCore's recommendations. This typically includes settings like disabling CSM, enabling AHCI, disabling Secure Boot, and others.
9. **First Boot:**
- Boot from the USB drive, and if everything is configured correctly, you should reach the macOS installer.
10. **Troubleshooting:**
- If you encounter boot issues, reference the troubleshooting section of the OpenCore documentation.
11. **Post-Installation:**
- After successful installation, mount the EFI partition of your installed macOS and copy the EFI folder from the USB to the EFI partition.
### Conclusion:
This guide provides a framework for building an EFI folder for your specific hardware using OpenCore. Given the complexity of the process, you should expect to spend some time on troubleshooting and possibly seeking help from the Hackintosh community for issues specific to your hardware.
Remember, creating a Hackintosh is a complex process and is against Apple's End User License Agreement. The stability and functionality of a Hackintosh can vary greatly, and there is always a risk of data loss or other issues, so ensure you have backups and proceed with caution.

Comment: Incompatibility:
CPU - AMD V140: While some AMD processors can be used for Hackintosh builds, they require specific patches and are more complex to configure than Intel CPUs. The AMD V140 is an older, single-core processor that lacks the performance and features required to run modern macOS versions effectively.
GPU - AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225: This is an outdated GPU architecture that macOS Sonoma does not support. Modern macOS versions require more recent graphics hardware for proper functionality and acceleration.
RAM - 2 GB (upgradable to 4 GB): macOS Sonoma's system requirements exceed the amount of RAM you currently have, and even with an upgrade to 4 GB, it would be the bare minimum for running macOS, resulting in poor performance.
Motherboard - eME442 V2.03: Compatibility details are not provided, but given the age of the associated CPU and GPU, it is likely that the motherboard may not support the necessary features for macOS Sonoma, such as UEFI firmware.

Comment: The Mac Pro 5,1 (Mid 2010/Mid 2012) isn't officially supported by macOS Monterey, but the community has found various ways to get it working, and one common way is via the OpenCore bootloader, which seems like the method you're employing.
Firstly, there are a few common hurdles to getting AMD GPUs working on these systems:
NVRAM: The NVRAM settings you mentioned are crucial for the GPU to work properly. The boot arguments you've used seem correct for most Navi-based cards.
BIOS Switch: Some GPUs come with a dual BIOS switch. If your card has one, try flipping the switch to the other position.
AGPM (Apple Graphics Power Management): Sometimes, Apple's graphics power management can interfere with the card. While agdpmod=pikera can help, sometimes more adjustments are needed.
Given the details you've provided, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
Check GPU Power Connectors: Ensure that the GPU is properly seated and that any required power connectors are securely connected.
SMBIOS: Within your OpenCore config.plist, ensure that you're using an SMBIOS that's compatible with macOS Monterey. While it might be tempting to use the MacPro5,1 SMBIOS, it's probably more beneficial to use a more modern one, like iMacPro1,1, especially with your graphics card.
Update Kexts and OpenCore: Ensure that you're using the latest versions of OpenCore and all your kexts. Compatibility and stability often improve with each release.
Recheck WhateverGreen boot-args: Make sure you've set the correct boot arguments. In most cases, for Navi-based GPUs, the boot-args agdpmod=pikera should be sufficient.
Check OpenCore Configurations: Verify that your config.plist settings are correct, especially under the DeviceProperties section. You may need to add specific properties for your GPU.
Logs and Debugging: If all else fails, gather logs. OpenCore has built-in logging, and you can analyze these logs to see if there's anything glaringly wrong. Look for errors related to WhateverGreen, Lilu, or other GPU-related issues.
Community Forums: The Mac Pro community and Hackintosh community are vast and incredibly helpful. Sites like MacRumors Forums, InsanelyMac, and others have dedicated threads for Mac Pro and Monterey. If you're unable to find a solution, sharing your exact issues and steps on these forums might get you assistance from someone who faced a similar problem.
Consider Other GPUs: If you find it too challenging to get the RX6600XT working, consider using another GPU that's more commonly supported in the community. Many people have had success with the RX 5700 XT, for instance.
Remember, when dealing with OpenCore on unsupported Mac hardware, patience is crucial. Sometimes it's a simple oversight or a combination of factors that can make the difference between a non-working system and a smooth experience.

Comment: Hey, no worries, your machine looks ready for some Hackintosh action! With the iATKOS Project, you're in good hands, but you've got to be careful with that 1050 Ti GPU. Apple and NVIDIA haven't been on the best of terms lately.
Your i5 4460 and ASRock H81M-VG4 R2.0 should work like a charm, but the GPU might give you a headache on newer macOS versions. Stick to macOS High Sierra (10.13) - it's your best bet to get everything humming smoothly.
Make sure to grab the right kexts for your hardware, take your time with the config.plist, and don't forget to have a bootable USB handy just in case. You'll have that Mac-like experience on your rig in no time. Good luck, and feel free to drop me a line if you run into any snags!

Comment: Yes, it is possible to downgrade OpenCore's root patches. However, I'd like to note that downgrading versions should be done cautiously because it may affect system stability and compatibility. Please remember to back up all your data before making any changes. Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the OpenCore repository on GitHub: https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg.
2. Click on the "Tags" tab. You'll see a list of all the different versions of OpenCore that have been released.
3. Download the version 0.6.7 zip file and extract it.
4. In your EFI folder, replace the BOOT and OC folders with the ones from the 0.6.7 zip file.
5. If you made any changes to the config.plist file or added any additional kexts, drivers, or SSDTs, you'll have to manually add those back.
6. After replacing these files, restart your computer.
Please note that root patches are designed to work with specific versions of macOS, so if you've recently updated your operating system, the patches might not work with the older version of OpenCore.
If the application continues to have issues after downgrading, it might be a compatibility issue with the application itself and the version of macOS you're running, rather than a problem with OpenCore. In that case, you should reach out to the developers of the application for support.

Configure your config.plist according to the Dortania OpenCore Guide for Ryzen systems.
Install macOS:
Boot from the USB drive.
Format your target drive using Disk Utility.
Install macOS.
After the installation, boot from the USB drive again, but this time choose your newly installed macOS drive.
Post-Installation:
Install Clover or OpenCore to your macOS drive.
Copy EFI from USB drive to the EFI partition of your macOS drive.
Install necessary kexts using KextBeast or manually copy them to your Clover or OpenCore kexts folder.
Nvidia GPU Workaround:
Since macOS does not natively support Nvidia GPUs after High Sierra, use macOS versions High Sierra or before.
Install the appropriate Nvidia Web Drivers for your macOS version.
Check Everything:
Make sure audio, networking, GPU acceleration, sleep/wake, and all other system components are working.
If not, troubleshoot each non-working component by checking your config.plist, kexts, and BIOS settings.

Comment: Hey Matheo, based on the details you've provided, here are a few steps that might help fix your issue:
1. Reset your network settings: On macOS, you can reset your network settings by deleting the following files from `/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/`:
- com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
- NetworkInterfaces.plist
- preferences.plist
After deleting these files, reboot your system. Please keep in mind that this will reset all network settings, including stored WiFi networks and passwords.
2. Reinstall your WiFi kext: Reinstall the AirPortBrcmFixup.kext. Ensure that you have the latest version of the kext. Also, double-check your config.plist to make sure you've correctly set MaxKernel.
3. Check your hardware: Ensure that your WiFi card is properly seated in its slot and that it's not showing any signs of physical damage. It's possible, though unlikely, that the card might have suddenly failed.
4. Try a different OS or Linux live CD: Boot into a different operating system (like Ubuntu, as you mentioned) or a live Linux CD to see if the WiFi is working there. If it's not, this might be a hardware issue.

Comment: The best SMBIOS for an i5-8250u is MacBookPro15,4. This is because the i5-8250u is a Kaby Lake-R processor, and MacBookPro15,4 is the SMBIOS for a MacBook Pro with a Kaby Lake-R processor. This will give you the most accurate results in terms of hardware detection and performance.
Other SMBIOSes that may work well for an i5-8250u include MacBookPro13,3 and MacBookPro15,2. However, MacBookPro15,4 is the most recommended SMBIOS for this processor.
Here are some of the reasons why MacBookPro15,4 is the best SMBIOS for an i5-8250u:
* It has the same Kaby Lake-R processor as the i5-8250u.
* It has the same amount of RAM (up to 32GB) as the i5-8250u.
* It has the same maximum supported resolution (2880x1800) as the i5-8250u.
* It has the same supported graphics card (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650) as the i5-8250u.
If you are using an i5-8250u, I recommend using the MacBookPro15,4 SMBIOS for the best results.

11. **Change the boot order.** In the BIOS, change the boot order so that the USB drive is the first device to boot from.
12. **Boot from the USB drive.** Save your changes and exit the BIOS. Your computer will now boot from the USB drive.
13. **Follow the installer instructions.** The installer will guide you through the installation process.
14. **Enter your Apple ID and password.** You will need to enter your Apple ID and password to activate Monterey.
15. **Install updates.** Once Monterey is installed, you should install any available updates.
Here are some additional tips for installing Monterey on an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Vega 8:
* Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Monterey. You can find the minimum system requirements on the Apple website.
* You may need to install additional drivers after Monterey is installed. You can find these drivers on the manufacturer's website.
* Monterey may not support all features on your computer. For example, you may not be able to use the Touch Bar or the Touch ID sensor.
If you have any problems installing Monterey, you can contact Apple support for help.

Comment: The format for UEFI-Drivers in the config.plist changed from how propertree does it, as just an array, or a list. Now it’s supposed to be done in the same way as Kernel-add, an array, with drivers represented by a numerical dictionary, with strings “path” which is just the name of the driver, comment, & an “enabled” Boolean.
You can verify this is the problem by opening OpenShell from the Opencore menu, navigating to your EFI partition’s OC folder, then drivers, & typing “load *” it should say your drivers were loaded successfully, & then type exit, & choose your bootable media as usual, & it will boot.

THERE ARE FALSE GOVERNMENTS, MILITARY, DOCTORS AND FAKE NEWS, BUT THIS MESSAGE IS COLLECTED ONLY BY THOSE WHO ALREADY KNOW IT AND BY THOSE WHO ALREADY SUSPECT IT.
FOR SEVERAL CENTURIES THE SAME FAMILY HAS DOMINATED THE EARTH, AND ALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE REST OF THE WORLD IGNORES. (The Bible is just a little bit).
THEY THOUGHT TO USE THE INTERNET TO DEFINITELY DOMINATE THE MAN, BUT BY IGNORING THE CONSEQUENCES (THANKS TO THE CONTROL OF THE TRAVELERS), THEIR SNAKE WAS A HEADLESS.
THIS WAR WILL BE UNTIL AUGUST 2027, THE INFORMATION WILL BE REVEALED STEP BY STEP SO THAT YOU ARE NOT CONFUSED.
EVERYTHING WILL UNDERSTAND AS YOU SEE THE EVENTS.
DO NOT BE AFRAID.

Comment: O people of the earth…
Why don’t you give ears what those people are trying to say to you…
Don’t you read his binary codes about microchipping and slavery and revelation 13…
Don’t you read his another binary code about the true information can be learned by time travelers and who reads bible for real only (and combine the infos together)
Don’t you read the bible that the 4 beasts of Daniel and first 4 seal of Revelation are the same things
Don’t you read the 4th and terrible beast of Daniel represents Gog from Magog as Russia that Kim Clement prophesied that God will slay him…(also Q messages says that Russia is our enemy) that this countdown talks about him PUTIN
Don’t you read the Islamic Hadiths (satanic plan) that talks about a savior who will pray to God in front of Jesus…
That Mahdi will bring ark of the covenant at the end of the days of days…
To show himself he is holly from God but not
Don’t you understand the people of the Quran that is why tricked that bible is changed and made them stay away from it and believe that satanic infos…
(WHATEVER IN THAT HADITHS ABOUT PROPHECIES ARE THE OPPOSITE OF BIBLE)
To this information don’t you read Daniel 9:27 about the destructive prince (son of perdition/antichrist) will strengthen the covenant with many (how can you strengthen the covenant - with the ark of the covenant-)
Don’t you read the Daniel 11 and don’t you see the little horn (antichrist) will trick the covenant leader (Abraham Accord leader who is Trump) and kill him…
Don’t you read the same info in Revelation 11 that the antichrist will have the authority to kill the God’s messenger after they finish their holly time frames…And people will be tested by their marks (666 vs 777 / Mark of God and Mark of beast)
Seriously When you read all Don’t you see great awakening in Malachi 4:5-6 as Elijah (Trump)
Don’t you see it also in Revelation 12 the child represents prosperity and See Godly shifting is coming to earth. But after that satan will rise again and come after the followers of christ and seed of the woman (Israel) which is also Q messages says that…(Angel Micheal message = Rev 12)
Don’t you read Q message says that we are in BIBLICAL TIMES…
Didn’t you hear the prophecy about Kim Clement said “Study the words..,Study the words and show yourself approved” says the Lord
Don’t you know any of these…
Please know than…
The great awakening is the great preparing…
Do not fall into any peace moment please… (especially when the ark of the covenant comes/it is a destructive peace)
Because The tribulation will come as a thief.Whatever happens in good way stay alert and keep digging the rabbit hole…
Hope whoever reads this can be guided to the path to the light..And fight for it…
Children of Light vs Children of Darkness
MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU
WE THANK YOU TO THE GOD FOR THE SALVATION OF JESUS/CHRIST/YESHUA/EMMANUEL/ISA/MESSIAH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US ON THE CROSS…

now i know why is my laptop doesn't
go to the iATKOS L2 install page " or wharever is the name of it"
the reason is i have to Graphic cards
which is
♣ intel (R) HD graphics card 3000
♣ Nvidia GT 550M with CUDA
the first one Mac can know it and use it which is "intel"
the second one is my problem : mac doesn't know and doesn't use it
and even dont want to " a stupid joke " so
if the guys who haves 2 GPU's know how to disable the unworkable one
they can install and use iATKOS L2 or L1 or any fo the iATKOS project systems
the problem hear is HOW to DISABLE IT ..!! will
the Desktop USERS can Remove the unwaorkable one
from their own motherboard
but the laptop guys maybe no solution if there is no way
to Disable the unworkable Graphics card
or just like Desktop guys .. they REMOVE IT
Unless there is way to disable it
in time of PC START's
i have a laptop
with 2 GPUs but and i wait alot to boot
but its realy boaring to wait maybe 3 houers like me
and realy fast if you remove it like me to
hope it helps guys :)

Comment: Hello all,
I am a bit desperate and any help would be appreciated.
I have this nasty habit of fiddling around till it fails to boot. My Lion(L2) was working well for 1 month. but today I did 2 changes to the boot loader under mac----settings.
1. I ticked on Ati bios ( I thought since I have an ATI card, it would be good)
boot screen enable graphics.
just after this the system does not boot. after the bios loads, the machine stops saying can't find /mach_kernel press any key to continue. _x, _F tags do notwork.
I would be grateful for anyone who could help me
Thanks a lot.

I burnt the iatkos L2 dvd and I boot on it with an external usb DVD drive.
I launch the install with the -v option and the only thing I get is a black screen once all the kexts are loaded.
If I don't use the -v option, I freeze at the apple logo.
Any idea ?
Thanks
