Transparent Dock in iATKOS ML2

For all those that think that glass should be transparent and not matte, I have the following Dock mod. It looks a bit more like the Leopard/Lion Dock. It does not however reflect, rather you look through it. To activate it, type the following two commands in a terminal:
Code:
defaults write com.apple.dock hide-mirror -bool yes
killall Dock
I have not seen this mod mentioned anywhere else. I found it by looking in the Dock binary. There are a lot more strings with meaningful names like "mirror-reflection-opacity", but I have not found any other string that seems to do anything. Have fun! Oh yeah, if you want to deactivate:
Code:
defaults write com.apple.dock hide-mirror -bool no
killall Dock

Chimera 2.0 Now Available with iMessage Login Fix

Chimera has been updated to version 2.0. The major change in this version is a move to the Chameleon 2.1 release code base and the iMessage login fix from the Chameleon 2.2 trunk. This version also includes all previous Chimera fixes and enhancements such as Intel HD 4000 graphics support and Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPU speed reporting. Chimera is recommended for all users, and will be included by default in the next MultiBeast and UniBeast releases.

Chimera v2.0.0 Changes:

  • Based on Chameleon 2.1 r2109
  • iMessage login fix by Meklort from Chameleon 2.2 r2169
  • HD4000 support from Chimera 1.11.1
  • CPU bus and processor speed fix from Chimera 1.11.1
  • Reverted AMD and NVIDIA card reporting to Chimera 1.11.1 style

Chimera is an official branch of the Chameleon open-source bootloader project.

iATKOS ML2: Instructions for the DMG image file

Instructions for the dmg image file:
Before anything, check the md5 of the iATKOS_ML2.dmg file you downloaded.

The correct md5 of iATKOS_ML2.dmg >>> 2aa379fc63fa20ad95e046e14a8b30d4

If the md5 of your dmg file does not match the md5 above, then you have a faulty file.
In this situation anything including freezes, boot errors, any kind of error messages causing frustration of your soul is possible! Take my word.

OS X:
DVD/Blu-Ray: Burn the dmg image to a blank Dual Layer DVD (±R, ±RW) or Blu-Ray Disk (BD-R, BD-RE) using Disk Utility on OS X and then you are ready to boot with the disk and install OS X to your computer.
Burn the disc at the minimum speed and verify the recording process, otherwise you may have a faulty disc of iATKOS ML2 which is as same as a faulty dmg image.

USB HDD/Flash Drive/Stick: Restore the dmg image to a USB HDD/Stick using OS X Disk Utility and install the chameleon bootloader to the USB target using this pkg file. Then you can boot with the USB device and install OS X to your computer.
Here is the video tutorial for restoring iATKOS ML2 to a USB device.
