Verify failed: disk object invalid or unable to serialize
Got upstairs to my hackintosh and tried to load a movie off my backup drive and it was running very slowly so I restarted.
Backup drive doesn't mount. Open Disk utility and look there. Backup drive is listed but the partition underneath it is listed as "____________________________________________________________________" and won't mount. Then i notice that some of my other files on my desktop are renamed so the cat was sitting on my keyboard at some point last night before it locked.
I can't mount the partition because i get the error in the title, but I'm pretty sure if i could rename the partition it should load because it says the most recent backup was 8:33pm tonight
if I can't figure this out i lose all time machine backups and my movies, photos, etc that are on that drive
help, please!

Amoled hackintosh Tablet - Galaxy TabPro S?
I love Amoled! If you invert colors and use f.lux software it's like words are floating on in the air if you use it at night. That all said, I'm not crazy about windows and I recently purchased a Samsung galaxy tabpro s tablet (similar to their recently released galaxy book).
I recently saw another redditor post their success with getting a Windows 10 HP tablet hackintoshed! I was curious if there was any possibility of hackintoshing my tablet for a MacOS Tablet computer?
Thanks all!

eGPU (GTX 750ti) on a Thinkpad x220 (El Capitan)
Hey all,
Has anyone managed to get an eGPU working through the expresscard slot? I have installed the Nvidia web drivers for El Capitan, I shut down, plug the eGPU in and then I get kernel panel on the boot (very hard to read what it's saying).
I am using this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311864874111 In combination with an Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 750ti 4gb card and El Capitan 10.11.6 using the web driver found here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306535-nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-el-capitan-update-07212017/
Any help would be appreciated!

Disable a gpu in osx
So hey guys!
I stuck a rx 480 in with my rx 580 and HS is recognizing them both.
So now.... how do I turn one of them off easily so I can run some benches in fcpx without taking it out and putting it back in.
Any thoughts?

Clover not showing APFS drives
After finally getting graphics to work, and finding out macos added oob support for your Ethernet controller allowing me to use iMessage and the app store, I installed clover onto my boot drive and restarted, but the drives are not showing.
Does clover have APFS support yet? It should do as the install USB picked up the APFS drives completely fine.

Best Buy Stops Selling Unactivated iPhones After Backlash Over $100 Premium

Best Buy was charging a $100 premium to customers who wanted to purchase the iPhone without a carrier plan. The company claimed flexibility 'has a cost'. Essentially, it was charging customers to offset payments it receives from carriers for selling a device already set up to work on their network.
Not satisfied with the damage to its PR, Best Buy has decided that rather than settling for the profit from selling a full price unactivated iPhone, it will just deny customers the flexibility.

Before updating to 10.13.1 if you have nVidia Web Drivers...
...remember to uninstall the older ones from the nVidia Driver Manager in the Control Panel before updating to avoid the "boot loop" that happens if you don't.
Once the system is up an running install the new drivers (Not available right now)

Dell Latitude E6330 & 10.12?
So, for a while now, I've had a Latitude E6330, and I've been desperately wanting MacOS on it for some of my college work. I looked into it a bit, and I found a lot of success stories for Latitude E6xxx's, so I was hopeful. However, after much struggling, I'm still unable to even get to the installer.
I've tried both Unibeast and a vanilla installation. Unibeast actually got the progress bar below the Apple logo, but would kernel panic about 3/4 of the way through the loading process. My vanilla installation however would only display the Apple logo before kernel panicking.
However, this was a couple of months ago, and I'm planning on starting again. The specs of the laptop are as follows:
- Intel Core i5-3340M
- Intel HD Graphics 4000
- Intel 7 Series/C216 Chipset
- 16GB SODIMM DDR3 RAM
- Dell Wireless 380 Bluetooth 4.0 Module
- Intel 82578LM Gigabit Ethernet
- Dell Wireless 1504 802.11b/g/n
- Qualcomm Atheros AR9485
- Another Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 (don't ask)
- Samsung PM830 128GB SSD (On SATA#0)
- Samsung Momentus ST750LM 750GB (On SATA#1/Module Bay, where I'd like to install MacOS)
- Dell A11 Legacy BIOS
I've looked on OSXLatitude but I couldn't find a guide for my laptop. I'd also like to point out that my Hackintosh knowledge is very limited. I barely understand what a Kext is, and I keep hearing terms such as DSDT and SSDT but I simply don't have the time amongst all my college work to get it done. If anyone can offer me any advice at all on what I should do, I'd be extremely grateful. I just want to be able to install the OS, even if it's got problems I can sort those out later.
Thanks in advance!
(P.S. If I've missed something, please tell me! I'll try and get back to you as soon as possible.)

[HELP] nVidia web drives not working at all no matter the version
As you remember from my last post I was going to install high Sierra, the installation was successful etc, but the web drivers don't function at all. They either give me a black screen Have a frozen white spinning sign Or in verbose mode repeat some weird thing with 253 in it.
I have tried all versions of the web drivers available for high Sierra, while forcefully removing the failed driver through single user mode.
What do I do?????
