Asus Z590M Plus - Opencore 0.7.9 Halt at EB|LOG:EXITBS:START

Just swapped out my motherboard from Gigabyte Z490M Gaming X to Asus Z590M Plus due to NVME issues. After i swapped everything over and set up BIOS settings, drive booted up with no issue. I reset NVRAM for whatever reason and thats when it decided not to boot. I have tried older versions of Opencore, made multiple changes to config.plist (often times starting from scratch) with no luck. This is where it halts (currently on 0.6.9):

Installing big sur on ivybridge/sandybridge

Hello. Was wanting to explain the procedure for how I got big sur to install and connect to the web. First I followed install using clover configurator to change the SMBIOS to say that I have an iMac 19,1 and once I got the installation done I had to tell the setup I didn't have ethernet when I first installed and setup. I then had to boot back into the Catalina hard drive to use the multibeast for Catalina. In the multibeast setup I did not choose the bootloader since its outdated, but I...

How to Prepare for Big Sur

As many people have been running system-definitions - the model of Apple Mac your Hackintosh is emulating - which will no-longer be supported under Big Sur, if you would like to upgrade when the time comes you will need make some changes to your config.plist.

I've been happily running system-definition iMac14,2 for many years but this is an old Mac model which will not be supported going forward with Big Sur. So I need to prepare now.

To get this thread started I'll show you what I...

Log Diagnosis for stalled new build

Hi Everyone,
I'm doing my first fresh build since 2013. I put together a new machine that should last several years until I'm forced to buy a real mac (BOOOO). A ton has changed since I did this so I feel back to square one on my knowledge.
My in-progress build is:
i7 10700 comet lake
Asus Z490 gaming WiFi
32GB DDR4 2400 RAM
Fenvi FV-T919 WiFi card
Samsung 870 500GB SSD for OS install

I am installing Catalina since it still has a Unibeast sidekick to help me along, but I am already stuck...

Asus Z170 Deluxe OpenCore macOS 11 Big Sur

Im starting a Build Thread for my system and I will update with more information as I can put it together.

Im assuming you've already created a macOS USB using the proper avenue (meaning from a Mac using the Mac app store).

The files I am going to attach are the completed build hot patched and including the addition of thunderbolt.

Resources: (Some of the SSDTs in my build have been renamed with Z170D in the DefinitionBlock to match my build but came from a number of different community...

Abhor Apple's New Full Updates Instead of the Smaller Supplemental Updates

One of the reasons why I absolutely abhor Apple's new full updates instead of the previous smaller supplemental ones has been one of time. It is such a waste of time and resources to have to wait for a 12 gig file to download. In my case because of the demand I'm having to wait 13 days just to get to 12.3! It is a real nightmare to update systems this way especially if you are say, an IT department admin or someone busy with work that requires a software update at a moments notice. Smaller...
