Not able to install hackintosh mojave on acer es1-523 .

Lenovo m720q / Big Sur - Only 1 working USB port

I was able to get Big Sur installed and running on a Lenovo m720q, it boots and functions OK. all the iServices run and it sleeps and reboots without issue.

My one big concern right now is that only 1 USB 2.0 port works. I was able to boot and install from a different USB port but it was horribly slow to the point that moving the mouse was like downloading a picture in the late 90s.

I looked into USBMapping using Hackintool and USBInjectAll.kext but when I look in the USB section of Hackintool and plug in a device to a USB port nothing changes on the screen like it simply doesn't recognize or acknowledge the ports at all.

Hi guys. i just tried creating a Catalina usb installer but i had troubles so i created a High Sierra installer using the guide on here for unibeast but that failes to install and gets stuck on the line "AMFI loadtrustedkeysfrom NVRAM: failed getting NVRAM" "USING 16384 buffer headers and 10240 cluster IO buffer headers"
i would like to install either Catalina or BigSur on my Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 3 with a I7 8700K using the onboard UHD 630 graphics.. Can anyone help.. Thanks in advance..!!

A successful boot and everything works! Hp pavilion 15 dk0056wm

Started looking into making a hackintosh by watching videos. Physical assembly looks fun but the software but looks Byzantine. Any video links to help me gain comfort with the software uploading process?

The idea of a powerful affordable Mac is enticing before they shift over to M1’s.

3 Issues in Big Sur that were not present in Catalina

On this little build:
ASUS Prime H310I-PLUS R2.0 - i3 8100 4core - 2x8GB 3200Mhz GSkill TridentZ Red - Adata XPG 6000 128GB - iGPU Intel UHD 630
I'm using OpenCore 065 and latest drivers. SMBIOS MacMini8,1.
I have mapped USB through Hackintool.

I have Catalina working with no issues, especially:
- iGPU Hardware Acceleration for both H264 / H265 and Network connections from WiFi are fine.
- The WiFi+Bluetooth module is a DW1560 all works as expected.
- Sleep / Wake works as expected.

MacOS High Sierra 10.6.3 boot loop after first part of installation (opencore)

MacOS High Sierra 10.6.3 boot loop after first part of installation (opencore)

I was able to get through the first part of the Installer, but when it asks me to boot off the internal drive it displays this then bootloops (image below).
Specs:
Lenovo M93P
Intel Core I7-4765T
Intel HD Graphics 4600
12GB DDR3
Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD
Intel I217N Ethernet

I used the haswell guide on the Install Guide.
The Config.plist and the Log is here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kqID7e1-dM-0Helg04VSLN6kdnVBnFof?usp=sharing

This is my first time doing a hackintosh, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

High Sierra on i5 10400?

Ok so i got a successful install of Catalina on my i5 10400 hack and everything works fine. My problem is i want to run Pro Tools 10 on it and it is not supported on Catalina. With a bit of hacking though, it can be run on High Sierra but my CPU is only compatible on Catalina and higher.

Is there a way to trick macOS into thinking my CPU is compatible? For what i’ve read it is possible, but i haven’t found any guides or success posts explaining how to.

Please help a begginer out lol

ALC 292 external mic not Working Combo Jack

ALC 292 external mic not Working Combo Jack

Hi,
Thanks for reading the post.
I have Big Sur installed on Dell E6440 with Opencore. Using AppleALC.kext with layout id 12.Every thing working fine without Codec Commander except continues noise when using headphones and External Mic is not detected at all by hackintosh it only detects Headphones speaker out but not mic of headphones. So for that I followed this Noise fix combo Jack. But opposite to this guide commands I give it Headset command:

hda-verb 0x1a SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL 0x24

and it fixes my headphone Speakers noise Issue. I give all commands to other nodes but it still not detects my external mic of Headphones.
I also tried to follow PinConfigurator but I do not know how to use it. I will be very grateful to you if you try to help me in anyway.
Here is my ALC292=Alc3226 Dump File.
Here are some Screenshots: May be it helps:

macOS Big Sur on Lenovo L590, Intel core i5

macOS Big Sur on Lenovo L590, Intel core i5

Hi all,

I finally installed macOS Big Sur on my Lenovo L590 (Intel version) but without sound and Graphics 2048 MB.

So my question is, how to get my audio working and how to make my Intel Graphics UHD 620 fully working?

Also, my laptop is a bit heating when using (probably because of 7 MB graphics problem or)?

Following instructions from Tech Labs on YouTube got me to kernel panic and I had to reinstall my hackintosh.

So far I haven't had any issues running macOS with this configuration, it runs like a charm. Perhaps the only thing I could improve is the boot time. It's not that is slow (takes around 20 seconds from boot picker to login screen) but I think it has room for improvement since it's running on NVMe.

Edit: grammar

Updated Build Compatability, Any Issues?

Hello everyone, after over a week of constant research and comparison, I feel like I've got the final iteration for my first Big Sur build! I haven't touched a desktop computer since Core 2 Duo days so I've had a lot to relearn about current standards haha Here is my previous post: https://redd.it/pch2iq

Please let me know if there are any issues with these parts from experience. And if you have any alternative recommendations :)

CPU: Comet Lake (10th) Intel i9-10900K 3.7 GHz 10 Core

Motherboard: Asus ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (Wifi)

Was looking at the MSI Z490 Godlike but I haven't seen anybody else make a build with it.

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB NITRO+ SE

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 CL16

Ethernet: Stock I219-V 1Gb

I imagine I have to get a separate card, will check if this is compatible, forgot about that part.

Wifi/BT: fenvi FV-T919 PCIe x1

Was told that the original apple card will be better but I can't find where to get one or from what model. Are they all the same?

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB (Windows) and Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB (macOS)

May switch to both Sabrent Rocket. Let me know if you have a better recommendation for Windows!

Case: Lian Li O11D XL-W ATX Full Tower

Cooler: NZXT Kraken Z73 73.11 CFM (AIO) + 10 Lian Li AL120's

Maybe 13 fans if I get a front panel mount for the case.

Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 850W 80+ Gold

One of the categories I feel I may need more research but I'm open to input!

Mac OS Mavericks boot kernel panic - virtualbox

Mac OS Mavericks boot kernel panic - virtualbox

I was trying to install mac os mavericks in VirtualBox. When all of a sudden I got this kernel panic. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3800x. I did use boot flags ¨amd64 amd¨, but it still crashed. I disabled EFI in settings because it wouldn't even boot. I also disabled Hardware clock in UTC time and set my cpu to act like an ivy bridge like it said in a tutorial. A year ago I tried it on my ThinkPad t530 and it installed without any problems. Could this be a problem because of my cpu? Thanks to everyone who responds.

Here is the tutorial link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nod7cpxzxLc

And the kernel panic log.

I really wanna run OS X Big Sur/Monterey on my desktop, turning it into a hackintosh.

I'm not sure, however, that my hardware is even hackintosh-able? Where to start? Will I run into issues? Do anyone have the same HW as me functioning?

Dell Optiplex 9020 All In One scrambled screen

I new at attempting to install macos on pc hardware. SO I decided to try on my old Dell Optiplex All in one with a Core i5-4670S with an iGPU.

The issue is the built in screen is not displaying correctly, I get a scrambled screen once it starts to boot the installer. When I attached an external hdmi screen it works correctly.

I was able to get 10.15.7 installed but I still have this screen issue. Is there anything I need to do to get the built in screen working correctly?

Will Hackintosh run on a old office dell computer?

The computer has a 3rd Generation i3 I think 4 gigs of ddr3 and Intel HD 3000 If I remember. I dont care what version of macos it is, it is my grandmother's computer, and she asked if I can get macos running, but I have no idea if it will run. (She worked with macos for like 15 years and got used to it, never used windows)

Time Machine not showing my internal SATA drive. Only showing Nvme drive.

I am running macOS 11.4 and have 3 internal HDD's.

  • One is an SSD (running the OS)
  • One is an Nvme (a scratchdisk)
  • One is a SATA for back-up purposes

Now I'm trying to use time machine as a free backup solution, but it's only showing the Nvme (scratchdisk) drive.

Looking at the disk utility it says "One Volume" for the scratchdisk and "Shared by 6 Volumes" for the SATA backup drive. Not sure if that could be the problem?

Should I change SMBIOS from iMac Pro to MacPro?

I Upgraded from 5700xt to 6 9 0 0 XT and I have been having some stability issues in After Effects and FCPx is not much better in exporting, vega 64 was still the fastest for me .

On my Imac GPU ussage touches 100% while using FCPx but on my hackintosh its Zero mostly, sometimes in compressor it climbs up to 50%.

Can I clone my sd boot card(big sur) to another USB?

Can I clone my sd boot card(big sur) to another USB?

I don't want to use USB adapter for the sd card

But I think the normal cloning way doesn't work because the sd card is 32 gb. And the place has the big sur in the card is kind of like hidden, and the storage is separated into two places in one sd card.

Hello, all
Updated 2 machines from Mojave like real Mac (i3-5010/i5-5250, HD5500/HD6000)

1. Update Clover to Clover UEFI Boot Mode v2.4k r4961
info.plist from working Mojave - no changes
