Anyone get i7-8700k fully working on 13.4 High Sierra? Z370 Gaming 7

So I made a second boot using a spare SSD I have with Vanilla High Sierra because I couldn’t get my 4K monitor to read as 4K on Mojave (I still have it on my Mojave Vanilla SSD though).

I used the same Vanilla install Method where it goes in depth step by step to release any issue. I’m guessing there’s just a few more steps that I need to do to get High Sierra running fully with my setup.

Issues so far, Audio (DP Audio not even recognized) iGPU not working, only shows 31MB. Flickering on the screen, using iMac 18,1 My 4K Monitor resolution is recognized automatically USB’s

My setup: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 CPU: Intel i7-8700k Monitor: LG 27UK650 Mac OS X: 13.4

Any one get their setup up and running? I know High Sierra is a mature build I’m staying at 13.4 since I heard 13.5+ does have a few issues (I may be wrong). I have latest whatevergreen and Lilu kext as well.

Apple Approves India's Do Not Disturb App Avoiding iPhone Ban

Apple has approved a government Do Not Disturb app in India after the company's telecom regulator threatened to ban iPhones from the country's cellular networks.

After years of waiting for Apple to implement anti-spam measures, India threatened to ban the iPhone if the government developed Do Not Disturb app wasn't approved by January 2019, reports VentureBeat. The app entitled TRAI DND is now available ahead of that deadline.

The average person in India receives upwards ten unwanted calls and messages each day, according to some reports. The DND app lets users report spam calls to their telecom.

Why A Hackintosh Is Still Worth It In 2018?

I am a long time user of a Hackintosh and over time you learn more and more about how hardware responds to drivers and different software. Even if you make a Hackintosh out of an old system that is collecting dust you should the learning curve when making it into an Apple system is priceless and makes you appreciate the system that bit more. I made a short video on Why Its Still Worth It To Make One on YouTube that you can go check out. The Hackintosh community is so helpful as well that's its hard to be stuck for long in the setting up process. Keep it real and keep hacking.

Logic Pro X Mojave issues

Logic Pro X Mojave issues

Hey All,

I have just successfully Hackintosh/ed Mojave using the vanilla install. I build this computer for Logic Pro X and have already ran into some issues. An image is attached below...

When I create a "NEW" project logic does not allow me to choose from some of their options. I don't know how to fix this issue. I just reinstalled Logic and and restoring the sample library to see if that may do the trick, but I honestly don't know. If there is anyone out there who can help me, that would be wonderful :)

Thanks,

Totally out of my league here

Hey all,

So I successfully booted my hackintosh with Mojave. I tried doing an iMessage fix and restarted my computer. In verbose mode it says “This version of MacOS is not supported on this platform. Reason: Mac-f42c88c8. With verbose off it just shows me a white stop symbol and reboots.

Now I don’t know how to fix it, but I believe what may have caused this issue is that when I was doing the iMessage fix, using clover config, I entered the wrong Mac model. I followed the exact instructions of this video https://youtu.be/3xn9CpRjkf4 what I didn’t do, is try to find the Mac that has my specific/or closest specs to my hardware.

If anyone has ran into this problem I would love help to get out of it.

Thanks,

Rey

WindowServer : Service only ran for 0 seconds.

Hello,

I recently wanted to install Mac OS High Sierra on my MSI GL62M 7RD. (i5-7300hq - GTX 1050 mobile | Intel HD 630)

I saw that a special config.plist was needed to boot (https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD615_620_630_640_650.plist), I downloaded it and installed it , but it still doesn't work. I still have this error message "Service only ran for 0 seconds".

Can someone help me?

Fix for loading wheel when password prompts appear - High Sierra?

Specs: i7-7700HQ GTX 1080 16GB DDR4 256GB Nvme drive - High Sierra

I was able to get Mojave, and High Sierra installed and they experience the same issue. I removed Mojave, and installed High Sierra. Whenever a password prompt appears the loading wheel will appear and the password prompt will be unresponsive for a moment or two then it disappears and able to use it.

I believe this is relating to aggressive down-clock of the CPU as I notice that when it downclocks to 1.3GHZ, is when I experience the loading wheel.

Anyone else have this issue?

Xiaomi Notebook Air 8250u Wifi/Bluetooth

Hello everybody,

I recently bought a Xiaomi Notebook Air 2018 (i5-8250u + MX150) and waiting it to be delivered.

I've seen some guides for the Pro version and I don't think there must be a lot of differences between Hackintosh-ing Air or Pro.

I was just thinking: is it possible to install Mojave? Have you done it yet?

Is it possible to install an internal WiFi + Bluetooth card (i.e. BCM94352Z)? If not, are there some nano WiFi+Bluetooth adaptor (one with double functions)?

Thank you!

Help switching from GTX 980 to RX580 plz

I just switched from an ASUS GTX 980 to an ASUS RX580 and I’m having trouble getting it to boot properly . I have a dual booted system using clover and i am on High Sierra. I have uninstalled all the drivers on windows and MacOS for NVIDIA card and I disabled inject nvidiaweb in config. I have also tried using HDMI as well as dvid but i just get a black screen. My monitor does not show any sort of image, it remains black and doesn’t even show no signal. I don’t even get the bios screen even thought the fans spin up fine and the card has its rgb lights on so is obviously powered and working.

Is there a simple fix to this or do I just have to format everything and start from scratch?

Specs: I5 8400 Be quiet system power 9 500w Asrock b360m pro 4 8gb DDR4 2666 ASUs rx 580 oc rog strix etc
