Clover Boot Menu requires long key presses

As the title says, I pretty much have my setup working fine. Can boot in to Mac or windows, graphics card works, iMessage works, etc.

The only "issue" that I still have is that when I am in the Clover Boot Menu a basic press of the arrow or enter key doesn't seem to work. I instead need to hold the key down for 2 seconds or so before it picks up on it. Because I am holding the key, the option then skips across the menu, making selecting the next option pretty tough.

Has anyone seen this before? Any idea on what to do?

Questions about my first dual boot Hackintosh build (8700k, 1070, dual M.2)

I've finally collected all of my components and am starting my first hackintosh build this weekend. I'm excited but also a little nervous.

I'm pretty savvy when it comes to wood/metal working, electronics, and mechanics. However; Operating systems make my brain explode. I'm coming from a EGPU setup that I was able to conquer with a limited amount of headaches so I'm confident I can make this happen. I've done quite a bit of research through forums such as tonymac, hackintosher, reddit, etc... so I have a catalog of bookmarks and my trusty MBP ready to guide me through it all step by step.

The only thing I'm not completely confident in is the storage section of my new build. I have 2 M.2 NVME drives and wasn't planning on using any other SSD's or HDD's (except external). I've seen numerous issues with people having to disconnect drives when installing or repairing. Is this something I'm going to need to worry about using the Samsung M.2's?

Another question: Is there any pros and cons to installing Windows 10 on the machine first and playing around for a couple days before installing Sierra or HS?

Spotify Files for Direct Listing on NYSE

Spotify has filed for a direct listing of shares on the NYSE. A popular music streaming service launched in 2008, Spotify now has 71 million premium subscribers and about 159 million monthly average users. That's nearly double the number of subscribers to Apple Music.

A direct listing is an unconventional way to pursue an IPO and means that Spotify will be able to list without raising new capital or hiring someone to underwrite the offering.

Unlike an initial public offering, the resale by the Registered Shareholders is not being underwritten by any investment bank. The Registered Shareholders may, or may not, elect to sell their ordinary shares covered by this prospectus, as and to the extent they may determine. Such sales, if any, will be made through brokerage transactions on the New York Stock Exchange (the “NYSE”) at prevailing market prices. See “Plan of Distribution.” If the Registered Shareholders choose to sell their ordinary shares, we will not receive any proceeds from the sale of ordinary shares by the Registered Shareholders.

High Sierra Lag Help

I have a hackintosh that is running High Sierra. I have an i7 7700k along with a z270 motherboard. I also have a 1080 ti with Nvidia drivers.

Basically, I'll be using safari and I'll have a video on the left side and then I search something on the right side. It'll freeze for a split second and then search and speed up. It's like the video lags, not only that, but I'll see it when I'm doing other things. Any advice on what to do?

I'm running NVIDIA Web Driver: 387. and macOS 10.13.3 Supplemental Update

Clover not showing without USB

I installed Sierra 10.12.6 on my HD 4000 based laptop. Its working well apart from the audio. But currently I'm trying to get it to boot without the usb.

I followed the vanilla installation guide without unibeast/multibeast. (Rehab's laptop guide on tonymacx86) But clover doesn't appear in the boot menu. In the boot options I see Mac OS X, but it doesn't work and it boots me into Windows.

Just to point out, I have Windows 10 installed (UEFI GPT). I installed Sierra on a separate SSD as UEFI GPT as well.

In the guide, he mentioned two points: select "Install RC scripts on target volume" and/or "Install all RC scripts on all other boot volumes", but not for USB.

Upon searching for a solution someone mentioned that when he used the option to install on all other volumes, clover started showing up in the boot menu. But I'm afraid that it might over write on my current windows boot file if I select that? What does it mean to install "RC scripts on all other volumes", does it mean it will install them on not just the Sierra partition but every other partition on all the drives(two SSDs in my case)?

My other attempt for a solution was to just clone my USB boot drive into a 24gb mini SSD that came in my laptop but even then clover doesn't show up in the boot menu. If I boot using the USB now, I can see that there's a new cloned partition on that SSD. But this didn't solve my problem as well.

What should I do?

Any help is appreciated.
