Having spent days trying to figure this out I am about to give up as it’s driving me mad.
I’ve tried both OS, Clover is the latest r5132, tried injecting ig-platform-id as 0x12345678.
Booting from USB on the surface (with no security set in UEFI bios) gets me to the Clover bootloader screen but from there on, whether I use the Catalina or Big Sur usb from createinstallmedia (with clover files subsequently added in EFI) all I get is the apple logo on a black screen.
I am at my wits end with this and I suspect Opencore is out of my depth if I cannot get Clover working.
I read there are issues with Big sur but that Catalina works?
Any help appreciated
