sonoma on 4th gen x1 carbon lag

machine specs:

• 4th gen x1 carbon i7-6600u

• 16gb ram

• 1tb ssd nvme (WD SN850X)

i guess in just typical web browsing , youtube it’s ok.

but when I tried to use it in my work as an alternate to my office laptop (2019 mbp 13inch) , it hell lags to the max while all these are open

• docker running

• dbeaver conmected to remote postgresql

• postman

• vs code

• zed

• safari with multi tabs

• brave with multi tabs

• arc with multi tabs

• firefox with multi tabs

• chrome with multi tabs

• slack

now im thinking to switch it back to ubuntu or whatever linux distro i can use
