I've read through a ton of the past posts here about this and haven't found a fix. Yesterday I ran OCLP and updated a 2012 13" MBP to Sequoia. It went ok and it works decently now. The only issue is the screen resolution. The best I can do is 1280x800. That's not terrible, but it should be higher. This laptop is for the workbench in my garage and when it's out there it's attached to a 24" Dell monitor. The resolution on that is normal, so it isn't a big deal if I'm stuck with 1280x800 on the laptop screen. Since I just did this yesterday, obviously the OCLP version is up to date. I've run the post-install patched several times and it hasn't helped. Is this issue caused by a GPU that just isn't going to be supported with Sequoia?
