Please help sorting disk volumes and time machine - imac late 2013 patched to Ventura 13.7

I have just used the patch to upgrade to Ventura. I used the external SSD to create time machine before I ran the patcher. I appear to have made a mess of the disk volumes - see image below. I need to

A) tidy up the disks to a single disk

B) restore my old files and programs/apps from the SSD time machine.

I was previously on Catlina (rubbish)
