Hi all, I have a 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 (specs listed at the bottom), running Monterey 12.7.1 through OCLP. I am currently on version 14.4 of OCLP. I created a USB Installer for Sonoma as I need Sonoma to update some software that I use for video production. I was previously on OCLP 1.3.0, and I recall hearing somewhere, maybe elsewhere on Reddit or another forum that 1.3.0 had boot issues. I do not remember if I had these issues then or not/if I used the boot menu then.
I can enter Recovery Mode through holding Cmd + R after the boot chime, but holding Option after the chime basically just prevents the machine from doing anything at all. I do not get a "no signal" notification on my display, any my keyboard lights up, so it is doing something, but the screen is black and there is nothing. I can power it down and boot normally, but in order for me to update my machine, I obviously need to be able to boot from that installer thumb drive.
Any suggestions as to how I might remedy this? Thanks!
