[SOLUTION] MacOS mojave trying to install killed: 9 error

It seems like you're encountering an issue while creating the bootable installer for macOS Mojave on your Lenovo Ideapad 330s-14IKB. The "Killed: 9" error typically indicates that the process was terminated forcefully, possibly due to a lack of system resources or an issue with the command itself.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check System Resources: Ensure that your system has enough available disk space and memory to complete the installation process. Free up disk space if necessary, and close any unnecessary applications running in the background.

  2. Retry the Command: Sometimes, the error may occur due to temporary issues. Try running the command again to see if the error persists.

  3. Verify macOS Mojave Installer: Make sure that the macOS Mojave installer file ("Install macOS Mojave .app") is not corrupted. You can try re-downloading the installer from the Mac App Store to ensure its integrity.

  4. Use Disk Utility: Instead of using the command-line method, you can try creating the bootable installer using Disk Utility. Format a USB drive as GUID Partition Map and macOS Extended (Journaled), then use Disk Utility to restore the macOS Mojave installer to the USB drive.

  5. Check Compatibility: Ensure that your Lenovo Ideapad 330s-14IKB meets the system requirements for macOS Mojave. Additionally, check if there are any known compatibility issues with installing macOS Mojave on your specific hardware model.

  6. Search for Alternative Methods: Explore alternative methods or tools for creating a bootable macOS Mojave installer. There may be third-party tools or scripts available that can simplify the process and bypass any potential issues with the command-line method.

  7. Seek Additional Assistance: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to the Hackintosh community forums or seeking assistance from experienced users who may have encountered similar issues.

Remember to proceed with caution when installing macOS on non-Apple hardware, and always ensure that you have appropriate backups of your data before making any changes to your system.

So I am trying to install MacOS mojave on a Lenovo Ideapad 330s-14IKB and I am following a github tutorial by miit0o and when I put the command 'sudo "/Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia" --volume /Volumes/install_osx --nointeraction' I get a Killed: 9 error. I don't know if it is because I have a M2 MacBook which officially doesn't support macos Mojave but is their any other way to install it and after that use clover bootloader to make a efi partition to boot into macos
