I have two computers running Sonoma through OCLP: a 2013 Mac Pro and a 2011 17” MacBook Pro. The Mac Pro updated from 14.2 to 14.3 as expected through the normal update process. The MacBook Pro however does not seem to install the update correctly.
When I start the update, it downloaded a KDK file as expected, then goes to reboot. The screen remains black (no progress bar) then it boots to the picker where I see two icons: the Sonoma OS on the internal drive and an installer icon with two gray hard disks. I let it boot as normal at first, but it was still on 14.2. I rebooted and selected the installer 3-4 different times, but it keeps coming up as 14.2.
Should I just continue selecting the installer at the boot picker until it eventually works? Or can I delete the update file and start over? Or is there another option? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
