I have recently updated my iMac 27 mid 2011 (i7, 32GB ram, ssd Samsung 850 pro and 2GB 6970m GPU) to latest Ventura. Everything went smooth, system boots fast, plays 4k 60 videos on YouTube and then I tried to install Acdsee from 10->9->8->7 and finally 6 worked. Also tried LEGO Builder game which didn't work at all. That led me to conclusion I have a unsupported GPU which led me to other conclusion that I will mostly have to stick to software versions that already worked under native OS (High Sierra), apart from let say Google Chrome which runs nicely. I also had troubles with newer versions if MS Word and greyed selected text, highest version that works is same as on HSierra, 16.4.2 something. Can someone with more experience in this subject give me some guidance what is optimal way of using Ventura with my iMac.
