Logic Pro with OpenCore bug: Library Browser lags with new selected tracks

Hi all. I have an issue that is specific to Logic Pro running OpenCore Legacy. I do not know the best place to post this; if anyone has a better place, please let me know and I will redirect this there.

I am using a Late 2013 Mac Pro. I have two drives patches with OpenCore—one running Ventura, one running Sonoma. On both, when using versions of Logic Pro beyond 10.5.1, selecting new tracks in the track area will result in a lagged and delayed update of the library window showing the corresponding patch.

For instance, in Logic 10.5.1 on my machine, it takes about one second to update the library when a new track is selected. However, in Logic 10.8.1, it takes about two. Logic 10.7.9 is especially laggy, taking about 3-4 seconds depending on the track/patch.

To test, I got a spare drive and did a proper clean install of MacOS Monterey and compared Logic 10.5.1 and Logic 10.7.9. The difference was barely noticeable there; 10.7.9 was still a bit slower, but maybe by less than half a second as opposed to full seconds on my OpenCore drives.

The only thing I have left to test is an OpenCore drive running Monterey to directly compare if it's the OS vs something with OpenCore, but I went to the Apple Store to test this behavior on the stock machines running Sonoma, and the library refresh should be much faster than I am experiencing. Thus, I believe the problem lies with my specific machine booting from drives patched with OpenCore legacy.

Does anyone know anything about this, or someone I can talk to about this?
