best way to connect a hackintosh to macbook pro for easy file sharing? thunderbolt bridge?

I don't want to use file sharing through network, since I'm using a public network, i have no control on whose on the network with me, i prefer a cable, I tried thunderbolt bridge did not work on my Hackintosh does not have that option in the network services,
I could use an ethernet cable adapter on my macbook pro maybe?
any ideas are welcome, thank you!
