I am hackintoshing a lenovo m700 tiny that has 2 displayport only. Unfortunately all of my monitors have hdmi, but I had this cheap adaptor that made me go through installation. However I'm now stuck because my Monterey just throws up a black screen in mid boot. I've read something about the problem being mainly the use of a passive adaptor, but I also have read something about making the system recognize the port as hdmi as alternative. Before buying another cable, I'd try a settings based solution. Could you please help me with this? I can probably borrow a DP monitor for trying this
