So, I have been reading for a minute on installing OS X on my laptop the Hp Omen 15 . I originally wanted to install Big Sur but CFG LOCK and iGPU are not able to be disabled through Bios, HP BIOS so its locked down . I seen write ups on Manual editing the CFG LOCK with both the RU bios editor and Dortania, ... But you have to start from a existing OS X install, thinking Catalina... Also ,I believe my laptop might have Optimus and not a Mux chip ... So a Bios edit for the iGPU might not be an option. No advanced tabs in Bios. So my basic question would be can I even get a OS X Catalina or Mojave installed cause of Optimus ?
