Hackintosh - GTX 770 Big Sur Performance Issues

I am currently experiencing performance issues w/ my gtx 770 on big sur and I was wondering if anybody else had any issues w/ any Kepler GPU's?

I am using Whatevergreen w/ shikigva=40 for imac14,2 for better nvidia support (smbios set to iMacPro1,1).

really noticeable performance issues:

- iMessage celebration effect drops display from 120fps to 3-5 fps

- small database tables in datagrip lag and stutter a lot

- scrolling simple code files in phpstorm is slow

- 20 year old game can barely hit 20fps out of 50fps cap. (rs)

things to note:

- displaying high vram usage (around 75% usage most of the time)

- geekbench result is less than half of what I expected (going by other results from the gtx 770)

- kextstat | grep -v com.apple shows the whatevergreenkext but system report > extensions does not

- I migrated my setup from my MacBook to this machine once it was working

setup:

- CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 3.5 GHz 16-Core Processor

- Memory : Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

- Storage : Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

- Video Card : MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB

I don't expect 1:1 performance with the card on windows but this doesn't seem right. I didn't have these issues when running a Catlina build a year or 2 ago.

If anybody had any thoughts on this, I would be very grateful
