Is it possible to change the fan profile.

HEllo,

I've recently installed folding@home on my hackmac and after sometime it starts to heat, the fans barely ramp up. Normally that would be a good thing, except I would rather want it to run cooler. The dell UEFI for the optiplex 7040 that i'm using doesn't allow for changing the fan profile. So, is there any other way to cchange the fan profile?
