Hello, I just want to say I’ve been through the start up and info guides but I’m still really tight on money. I was looking for advice on how to build (and wether or not it’s worth it) my own hackintosh. I love apple but my laptop is 10 years old and in desperate need of relief.
My free time consists of me using ableton 10 a lot and it overloads cpu a lot on things like serum. Load times are long etc. I eventually want to get into octane and 4d work but clearly need a better cpu.
Overall I am looking for something that I will ultimately be able to keep up with rendering speeds and ram. I hope any other artists can give me advice on what to do and where to go about this sort of thing.
So far this is what I have down:
Corsair mid tower- (does it really matter which one? I know air flow is key but there are so many)
Gigabyte z390 ( however I would like a mb with thunderbolt and I unfortunately have to run only WiFi)
i9 9900k
2x 16 gb DDR4 3200 (for starters)
And a 2080ti or a 2070 super GPU
