Anyone install on X220 thinkpad with opencore?

Hey guys,

I have an X220 thinkpad running high sierra using the popular mcdonnelltech guide with clover.

I've been plagued with a UI freeze/crash issue and I'm curious if reinstalling using OpenCore may solve the problem.

I haven't been able to find much about OpenCore + x220 thinkpads. Is this HW simply too old? Has anyone gotten it to work?
