Acer Aspire 7 ( IND) Hackintosh Catalina Success!

I am a noob to the hackintosh community! But after a bunch of tinkering and exploring i finally built a pretty stable Hackintosh for this laptop.. Thanks to Opencore and amazing redditers for helping!

Here Are The Specs:

  • CPU: Intel i5-9300H (Coffee Lake Plus)
  • GPU: UHD 630 + Nvidia 1650
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4
  • Motherboard/Laptop model: A715-75G
  • Audio Codec: Realtek
  • Ethernet Card: Gigabit Ethernet
  • Wifi/BT Card: Intel wifi card 6 (AX200/201)
  • What guide/tool followed: OpenCore FTW

So.. starting with whats working :

wifi , trackpad , keyboard , usb mapping , webcam and pretty much else that you would use (except Bluetooth)

Bugs?

  1. Well The Power management does work... like disabling gpu , using cpufriend helped.. but on normal usage it can go till 3h max... ( IDK how good is the battery backup is , comment on it)
  2. Bluetooth devices keep on disconnecting
  3. Sleep is broken.. (drains battery as it would normally)
  4. Nvidia 1650 wont work
  5. Fingerprint Not Supported

I think thats pretty much it... well i got few questions tho :

  1. Is it worth staying on (Long term) ?
  2. Can it Harm the HW?
  3. Any Fixes for optimizing the battery will be helpful!

Thanks To All those who Helped! If Anyone needs my EFI , I'll share it :)
