When faking/spoofing IGPU device-id, will IOReg show the fake device-id or the actual one of the IGPU?

Been trying to get graphics acceleration working on a i7-8550u Chromebox with UHD620.

This is how I have my device-id setup in config.

But when I go into IOReg, it shows the device-id as 59178086.

I have my aapl,ig-platform-id set to 0000C087, and that shows up patched correctly in IOReg. So the Framebuffer patch is sorta working?

Is there a reason why its not spoofing the device-id?
