Build an iMac with apple logic board

Hi guys,

I've just found out that you can build your own iMac with just an (old) logoc board and connect it to an monitor. Unfortunately there are no detailled instructions. So my question is:

Is it really that simple?
And what would you use a mac book logic board, or a mac pro logic board for more power etc.?
I think that the mac pro would be the better choice because the performance of a mac book is throttled if you use it without a battery.
