Video Editing Stability

I have been using my current Hackintosh setup for nearly six years and it has been absolutely stable (I get the occasional issue where my machine requires a reboot as the sleep seems to cause a kernel panic, but no big issue). I recently have started to dive deeper into the world of video editing (nothing professional, just pure hobby kind of stuff). I, therefore, was recently considering using either Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X, and I am leaning more towards Final Cut Pro X mainly due to it seeming more "beginner-friendly" and from my research thus far, it seems to be easier on hardware resources, however, I was concerned if with a Hackintosh there are any concerns of "stability"? To be absolutely honest, I don't do many performance-intensive kinds of tasks on my Hackintosh, and I am not sure if there are many hackintoshers who use their systems for video editing with Final Cut Pro X which is why I figure I'd ask. As for my system specs if it helps make a difference (I am planning on doing an upgrade for the CPU and GPU soon, but not this very moment):

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H
  • CPU: i5-4590, Intel HD 4600
  • GPU: Saphire Radeon HD 7950
  • RAM: 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  • macOS Version: 10.15.4

Therefore, I was wondering, is there any reason why I shouldn't use Final Cut Pro X with my Hackintosh, or should I just stick to using Adobe Premiere Pro on Windows 10 due to potential stability issues?
