The Q9400 Wolfdale/Yorkfield system is currently running High Sierra and it is stable. I 'm aware that Apple only supports this CPU generation up to High Sierra, but I saw others here using Wolfdale (or Yorkfield) CPUs at least up to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave. Additionally dosdude1 has a Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina patcher that includes Wolfdale models of iMac, which indicates, that this CPU might still work with Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina
Does anyone here still run a Wolfdale or Yorkfield CPU Success fully with Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina? Does it run stable? Do you need to change any special settings, such as CPU ID in Clover or OpenCore?
