Adjust volume of built-in-screen audio (OpenCore, AMD, RX5700 via DisplayPort, AOC 24G2U)

Adjust volume of built-in-screen audio (<a class='btn btn-link py-0' href='/p/opencore.html?id' target='_blank'>OpenCore</a>, AMD, RX5700 via DisplayPort, AOC 24G2U)

Hi. My Hackintosh is pretty much set up and I was able to fix some major issues. One issue that remains: I cannot adjust the volume of the built-in speakers of my AOC 24G2U Screen...

This monitor is connected via DisplayPort to my Radeon RX 5700 XT Graphics Card which "sits" on my MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC Motherboard that has the Realtek ALC1220 Code. On my EFI and OpenCore config.plist there is the AppleALC.kext installed. On Windows 10 (DualBoot) I can adjust the volume of this screen without any problems. The "volume adjustment bar" is greyed out for this monitor on macOs...

  • Is there any other/additional KEXT for this? (I read here that this might be a possibility.)
  • Would SoundFlower (couldn't find it anymore) or any similar application be able to solve this?
  • Or is there no possibility to do this on macOS?
