Family members have an ageing dual core iMac and I'd like to upgrade them into something that doesn't run their web browser like molasses. Is it worth OSX-ing an old 2500k (SSD, 16gb ram) I have laying around, or should I be looking for a Mini? I'm not sure where drivers etc. stand with the older hardware.
