Hi guys, I don't really post on Reddit, but I am on the brink of breaking down and crying at this moment.On Monday I started doing my research on how to hackintosh a PC, and in particular - an HP EliteBook 840 G3 which I had at hand. First time I heard about the term "hackintosh" was two months ago. I had no clue that something like this was even possible prior to that. I've read through everything I could find useful on this subreddit; followed a mix of different guides for my laptop model; accessed a bunch of Russian forums and started hackintoshing the laptop. So, straight to the point: Yesterday I succeeded installing Mojave 10.14 on the laptop with the help of a USB stick with Clover and the 10.14 version of Mojave on it. The OS booted up, I set it up and was working fine, even the webcam worked. I restarted the laptop just to make sure it still works, and it did. The only thing is that I didn't do is move the kexts and EFI drivers that I originally put on the USB drive to the HDD with MacOS, leaving this for today. Today, when I tried to boot the same way as I did yesterday, using the USB stick, the screen went black after the Apple loading screen (check picture below). That's it. Nothing. Just the backlight on the keyboard and a reaaally faint flicker on the display whenever I tried pressing anything. I left it alone for maybe 15min to see if anything changes and it didn't. Tried rebooting a couple of times and was still ending up with the same result. https://i.redd.it/m8o7jkcptbq31.jpg After googling my issue for a bit, I found a forum where a guy had the same exact problem as I did, and he solved it by figuring out that it was a problem with his GPU and by re-adding IntelGraphicsFixup.kext to the kext directory in the Clover folder. I tried the same, and it didn't work. Then I tried adding WhateverGreen.kext, and ended up with the same black screen. I even swapped the HDD with a virgin freshly formatted SSD and re-tried the whole proccess. But when I try to access the Install Manager I get the same black screen after the Apple loading screen. I am out of ideas and have no clue what to do. I will post the laptop specs, kexts I use and all the useful info below.
