Building my first mini-itx Hackintosh. I used a macOS Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave on VMWare on Linux to create the bootable USB installer, following the UniBeast guide, then changed BIOS settings.
Booting from the USB I was able to get to Clover, select which option to boot, but after selecting "Boot OS X Install from Install macOS Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave", I got greeted with an white apple logo on black screen, then completely stuck there. (no progress bar)
I managed to toggle verbose mode, and noticed that the step that it got stuck at is after "End RandomSeed", with a bunch of "+" signs forming a row.
Although I had High Sierra installed on my 250G SSD, I was going to format the drive clean and install Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave on it, as there's no shared hardware with my old build this time. So I thought maybe I could still boot from the SSD, as Clover on USB also found the boot entries on the SSD. Unfortunately, same result as booting the installer. Then I tried to boot with the Clover from the SSD (older version of Clover), found both SSD and USB installer boot entries, but stuck again at logo screen for both options. Tried changing USB ports, same results.
From what I read after a search, it's because of Clover not working well. However, I have tried 2 versions of clover - the one bundled with UniBeast (4920) and the one installed on SSD (4630). Neither got pass the plus signs.
Any help would be immensely appreciated!!
