Quick question: Is it possible to remove throttling (no battery) without formatting?

The battery of my really old MacBook Pro (Early-2015, A1502) was swelling, so I had to have it removed. However, it's way too slow. I'm on Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave, and I have an original Apple charger.

Is it possible to disable the throttling using OpenCore without formatting or re-installing macOS—keeping all files and apps the same, and still using Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave?
