Is it possible to set an older mac to OOBE after using the patcher to bring it as up-to-date as possible?

I'd like my old Macs new owner to still have some of that nice 'fresh out of the box' feeling when they start it up.

Also, what's the best process to get a 'clean' install? Do I install the most up to date MacOS, then patch it, then update more?

Is it possible to somehow patch before installing - and go straight to the latest supported patched version?

I want to leave as little (zero?) 'cruft' on the machine as possible before handing it over.

Thanks for any advice.
