I’m running a Hackintosh with the following specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-3470
- Motherboard: Dell OptiPlex 9010
- GPU: Intel HD Graphics 2500 (stuck in VESA mode)
- macOS Version: 14.7.2 (Sonoma)
use smbios of iMacPro1,1
Right now, I’m using the integrated HD 2500, but since it’s not properly supported (only VESA mode), I was thinking of adding a GT 710.
Would this be a good option for macOS? I know it’s a Kepler card, but I’ve heard mixed things about its compatibility. Will it work natively, or will I need extra kexts/modifications? Any better alternatives in the same price range?
