Hey,
in the last few days I tried to get to get MacOS working on my Desktop PC. I had trouble to get it working. I configured the EFI following the Install guide. Had Kernel Panic s, Install errors and no internet.
Then I found the OpCore Simplify Program (OpCore-Simplify). Was a life saver. Now so much more did work.
But I needed two remove the NVMeFix kext because it was causing issues.
And for whatever reason, Horndis caused Kernel Panic with Sonoma. So I needed to plug in Ethernet.
I also needed to change some things up in the Config.plist but all in all the OpCore Simplify Program is so good.
For editing Plist and changing Options I used OCAT (OCAuxiliaryTools). Really nice Program. Can recommend.
Mapping the USB Drive with the help of the OpCore Simplify Tool was also easy
After installing, I now installed a Program to make WiFi Functioning. From Chris1111 (Wireless-USB-Big-Sur-Adapter). Right now it's a cheap ass Wifi+Bluetooth Dongle installed. Have now ordered two different ones from TP-Link. Maybe they are better.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600X
Pulse Radeon RX 5600XT 6G
16GB 4000mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB
Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2
I also want to put MacOS on a Acer Laptop I have laying around.
Sadly my newer HP Envy Laptop with I7-11th and RT X 3050 isn't supported in MacOS.
