I F*ck’d up and updated the wrong thing first.

So I have MacOS Sonoma installed on a late 2014 MacBook Pro and I made the dumb mistake of updating my root patches before I even updated the OS and I’m stuck at this. Can’t downgrade, safe mode doesn’t seem to work, I try to do a recovery and reinstall but still preserve my files but it doesn’t detect Ethernet plugged in and when I try to connect to wifi, it says it connected to wifi but no internet (which I have and everything is working fine on that end). In the image, the loading bar gets stuck and never goes past where it is. Even when I try to load safe mode up. Ideally I would like to preserve my files.
