So recently installed Monterey on a 2011 iMac, it's running well but wanting to install SSD to improve performance, not massively confident opening it up to replace HDD so was wondering if I could install OS on an nvme ssd inside an enclosure and connect via thunderbolt? How would this compare speed wise compared to connecting to internal SATA?
