Hey guys, this community has been awesome, with real time replies and help and i appreciate. I have the option of getting a 2018 air or a 2017 pro,... I know 2018 is closer to the supported macbooks. But the 2017 pro has 16gb ram and a core i7. I cant help but think i need that ram and i can always apply a patch for sonoma cause it comes with ventura. The 2018 is 8gb ram and 13', its powerful but i could really use your help. I'm using a 2009 mcbk pro but i swear it's waiting for me to sneeze so that it falls apart..After 10 min of turning it on, i cant start any other program other than what was already started. Big sur was good but had similar issues, monterey is worse, couldn't install ventura and sonoma is worse. Pls help..
TL:DR; Desicion between buying a 2017 macbook air with 8gb ram or 2017 macbook pro 16gb ram.
