On my laptop (Dell Latitude E6230, i7 3540M) anything above macOS Big Sur will upgrade Success fully, but then refuse to boot after a while. It gets stuck on the following: "busy timeout: 'ARPT', [disk name]", and after a lot of waiting "busy timeout, 'ARPT', [disk name], 'IOResources'" Unfortunately, searching on the internet doesn't yield any useful results. (I only get results for other types of busy timeouts, but not this one)
