USB keyboard and mouse issues on iMac running Sonoma. Already tried a USB hub, what are my.options now?

I'm not sure where to go from here. I have this iMac 9,1 (old from 2009) and another Windows PC, and OpenCore only displays 4 options once I hit spacebar. The recovery option and the real Sonoma OS both fail to recognize my keyboard the minute it begins to load, however my keyboard and mouse are usable up until that just after power-on and up until I select my boot option in OpenCore.

Is there a way I can install another image now that I'm here? Or a way to get the USB keyboard and mouse recognized?
