Managed to get Sonoma up and running on my surface pro 5. Runs decent enough. Some things are a little choppy, especially the lists in settings when clicking on a sub menu. But besides that it runs great.
What works:
Touch screen
Keyboard + mouse
Battery indicator
iServices
Sleep
And almost everything else
What doesn’t work:
WiFi/bluetooth
Both cameras
For WiFi I’m using a T2U nano and I installed chris1111’s wireless adapter driver, only issue with that is that it doesn’t install properly on Sonoma, it says “install failed” right at the end but then it works until a reboot where I have to install it again. I’m not sure if there’s even a fix but I’ll try. I also tried Big Sur which ran amazingly on this machine, no stutters or anything. Might try Ventura and Monterey and see how those fair as well.
Specs:

8GB ram
256GB SSD
