Guide:
If you encounter the "No Installers Found in /Applications" error while trying to create a macOS installer using OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP), follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Verify Installer Location: Ensure that the macOS installer application is indeed located in the "/Applications" folder on your system. Sometimes, the installer may be in a different directory, or its name might be different from what OCLP expects.
Correct Installer Name: Make sure that the macOS installer application is named correctly. It should match the expected name that OCLP is looking for. For example, if you're creating a macOS Monterey installer, the installer application should be named "Install macOS Monterey.app".
Re-Download Installer: If the macOS installer application is not in the "/Applications" folder or if its name is incorrect, delete the existing installer and re-download it from the official source or through OCLP itself. This ensures that you have the correct installer file with the proper name.
Move Installer to /Applications: After downloading the macOS installer, move it to the "/Applications" folder on your system. This is the default location where OCLP expects to find the installer.
Re-launch OCLP: Quit OCLP if it's running and relaunch it. Sometimes, OCLP may not detect newly added installers until it is restarted.
Select Correct Installer: In OCLP, make sure you select the correct macOS installer version that matches the one you downloaded and placed in the "/Applications" folder. Choose the appropriate installer version from the dropdown menu in OCLP.
Retry Installation: Once you've verified that the correct installer is selected in OCLP and located in the "/Applications" folder, try creating the macOS installer again.
Check Internet Connection: If you're downloading the macOS installer directly through OCLP, ensure that your internet connection is stable. Interruptions during the download process can result in incomplete or corrupted installer files.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the "No Installers Found in /Applications" error in OCLP and proceed with creating your macOS installer Success fully. If you continue to encounter issues, consider seeking assistance from the Hackintosh community forums or Discord channels for further troubleshooting.
Hi. I have been reading all across reddit and Discord about this but i cant find the solution.
My internet isn't the best so it keeps interrupting the download if i do straight from the OCLP, so i downloaded it from the web browser using the same link the OCLP provided. Installed it on the /Applications folder and everything but when i try to create the MacOs installer it says it cant find it.
Any fix for this?
