Hey ,
I've been diving into the world of Hackintosh and could really use some assistance with my current setup. Here are the specs:
- Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt
- CPU: Ivy Bridge i7 3770
- RAM: 16GB (1x8GB + 2x4GB)
- GPU: RX 570 8GB (originally RX 580 2048SP flashed to RX 570)
I've managed to get Ventura running with the boot argument "-amd_no_dgpu_accel", and I can access the system. However, I'm encountering issues when attempting to patch for Ivy Bridge HD4000 and RX 570 compatibility by OCLP .
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Patching for Ivy Bridge HD4000 and RX 570 as suggested by OCLP, and removing boot-args "-amd_no_dgpu_accel" but this results in a boot loop.
- To regain access to Ventura, I add "-wegnoegpu" to my boot arguments.
I've experimented with different BIOS settings
-"bios=igd", switching to PEG results in being unable to see BIOS boot, OpenCore, or even Windows. I have to wait for the system to start directly to Windows desktop.
secure boot between enabled and disabled, but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue.I'm also using dual monitors: one connected to my GPU through the HDMI port and the second connected to my motherboard through the HDMI port. Both monitors are working without GPU acceleration before patching.
Here's my current boot argument:-v amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1 alcid=1 -amd_no_dgpu_accel -crypt_force_avx amfi=0x80 ipc_control_port_option=0 watchdog=0 dk.e1000=0 e1000=0
or
-v amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1 alcid=1 -amd_no_dgpu_accel watchdog=0 dk.e1000=0 e1000=0
DmgLoading=any
SecureBootModel=disabled
csr-active-config = FF0F0000 (To disable SIP)
I'm at a bit of a loss here and would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions from the community. If anyone has experience with similar setups or has encountered similar issues, I'd love to hear your insights.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Looking forward to getting my Hackintosh setup running smoothly!
Cheers,
