Is na HP elitedesk and a rx 580 as an egpu a good combo

So I was just wondering if I could use this combo as buying 2nd hand this would come up to around 200 bucks for me, are ther going to be any compatibility problems? I'm just asking beforehand, I'll make sure to read the sidebar when I actually lock in this choice
