Soo, a bit ago I posted about my succesfull Hackintosh on an r5 5600/rx6700 build I tried my laptop with less succes, but in the meanwhile I just fell in love with macOS.
I never liked apple because there price to preformance ratio was relly bad. Every since apple silicon that mindset changed, but I didnt have enough expierience with macOS to take the risk.
After a few weeks with an (almost stable) Hackintosh, and needing a new laptop I finally broke and got myself an 2020 macbook air with 16gb of ram.
This now is my main school device, I ordered a dock to connect it to my monitors an be able to use it as a desktop. I study programming and this device just rips trough it. I dont notice a lot of difference beween mt r5 5600 desktop.
So if any of you are on the fence of getting a real mac and have the room fanancially/find a good deal, just go for it. This is the first time I got a laptop that just works without hiccups and the build quality is just amazing. I even got a magic trackpad for desktop use cause they are so good.
Never thought I would turn into an apple "snob" but tbh I will never look back and windows is purely for gaming now.
