Successful Hackintosh on Razer Blade 14 with Ventura: Addressing WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPU Issues

Solution:

Congratulations on successfully booting Ventura on your Razer Blade 14! Here are solutions to address the non-working components:

  1. WiFi and Bluetooth Compatibility: Hackintosh setups often face challenges with WiFi and Bluetooth due to Apple's use of a limited number of wireless adaptor chips. If your laptop's built-in WiFi and Bluetooth are not compatible with macOS, consider:

    • Replacing the internal wireless card with one that is known to be compatible with macOS.
    • Using a USB wireless adaptor. Compatible models include Netgear WG111v2, RokAir, and Asus WL-167g.
  2. Speakers Issue: For the non-functional speakers, you will need to:

    • Identify the correct audio drivers (kexts) for your laptop's sound hardware.
    • Use tools like VoodooHDA for generic audio support or specific kexts if available for your audio chipset.
  3. GPU Compatibility: The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 in your Razer Blade 14 might have limited support in macOS. Consider:

    • Using OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP) as you mentioned, which may offer partial support or workarounds.
    • Accepting that full GPU acceleration might not be achievable if OCLP doesn't resolve the issue, as NVIDIA GPUs often have limited support in recent macOS versions.
  4. Additional Troubleshooting:

    • Continuously monitor forums and Hackintosh communities for updates or workarounds specific to your hardware.
    • Document any changes you make for easy reversal if needed.
  5. Community Support: Share your specific build details and issues on Hackintosh forums for more tailored advice.

  6. Backup: Always maintain backups of your data and EFI configuration to prevent data loss during troubleshooting.

Visual Aids: Screenshots or videos showing the installation of compatible wireless cards or the setup process for audio drivers can be helpful.

Additional Note: Hackintosh systems, especially on laptops like the Razer Blade 14, often require ongoing adjustments and updates to maintain functionality with new macOS versions and to resolve hardware compatibility issues.

Succes!

After 5 months of trying and buying a new ssd I finally got my razer blade 14 to boot on Ventura.

Not working: WiFi + Bluetooth I need a compatible card for my laptop and Sonoma, speakers (I’ll try to fix it), GPU 1060 which I will try to use OCLP to patch, if not it’s fine.
