Finally - hackintoshed Skylake on Fujitsu motherboard

I thought this system is not hacintoshable as I mentioned in my previous post I was stuck on [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] forever. No matter what I did it was the same message no matter what I did.

What actually DID help me was... BIOS restore to default values. Once I did that things started to happen. I did also USB mapping, ACPI SSDTs vis SSDTTime couple of times and read the guide many many times. Last bit what helped me was to set "UEFI->Quirks->ReleaseUSBownership" as the boot was stuck on some USB related messages. Oh, and as for initial config now I know that PM991a NVMe Samsung 512GB is not a good choice - although it booted into installer the process was stuck after couple of minutes with complete system freeze (mouse pointer not moving etc.). I swapped it to some old 2,5" SATA 320GB WD drive and it worked. It is very slow but works.

I mark it as a success but there is still some work:

  • screen flickers and require act funny when system goes to sleep (blinks and I had to unplug and replug the monitor) although hardware acceleration seems to work fine
  • network works fine but I use ethernet - dont have wifi board
  • I'm hungry to try now to go beyond Big Sur

Question: system suggests that it can update to Monterey. Should I? Or it will crash the whole thing?

Config for reference:
