I'm facing some challenges trying to switch to the dGPU (RX5500M) on my laptop, which lacks a MUX switch. My goal is to disable the iGPU and connect an external monitor to utilize the dGPU. My laptop specs include AMD 5600h + RX 5500M.
Previously, I Success fully used NootedRed with the iGPU. Now, I want to switch to the dGPU for an external monitor. I've tried removing NootedRed, experimented with and without WEG, and tried boot flags like agdpmod=pikera -wegnoigpu. Unfortunately, HDMI isn't detected at all.
When I boot with the iGPU disabled, the OS boots on the laptop display without any acceleration, instead of the external display.
Can someone provide guidance or suggestions to help me troubleshoot and achieve the switch to the dGPU?
