I have had this system running Mavericks for about 7 years without issues. Now that 10.9.5 is obsolite, I need to update my system. No matter what I do, I cannot get ANY method's USB to pass verbose mode. Not once have I even seen the install screen for Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina. OpenCore doesn't let me see the installer on the boot screen either (I saw it once when another USB was plugged in), and I've started from scratch twice and tried every fix that is currently posted online (that I can find).
